Throughout my time on the Junior Panhellenic Council, I have enjoyed fostering relationships with other members of the CPC community. Leading these women to find their own voices at Southern Miss has been such a great opportunity and getting to know each member of this council has been a highlight of my freshman year. I am so excited to welcome PC’20 and show them what a wonderful Panhellenic community we have here at Southern Miss! JPCTTT!

My experience with JPC has been incredible! This organization helped me find my place in my sorority and on campus. I have been able to build friendships with remarkable women all across the row. I was lucky enough to hold a position on the executive board and it’s helped me grow my leadership skills. I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing organization!
- Emilee Westfall
Being on JPC has truly been such a blessing. There’s something special about a group of such diverse girls coming together and making a change in the Panhellenic community here at USM. Being the VP of Philanthropy has taught me a lot about myself and leadership. My overall experience on JPC has been so rewarding. I’m grateful that I got to meet such amazing girls and create awesome relationships with people all down the row.
- Kaitlyn Robinson
JPC has brought me friends in every sorority that will last behind my college years and given me the opportunity to be a voice for my pledge class.
- Bayleigh Blackard
Being on JPC has allowed me to meet some of my best friends. It’s given me a great opportunity to test my leadership skills and to learn. I’ve learned so much about myself and the Panhellenic community.
- Cassie Brown

Sixteen newly initiated members (two from each chapter) will be selected to join the Council, and the term will last from January to December of 2020. Women who are selected have the opportunity to apply for various leadership positions within the Council and to assist the College Panhellenic Council Executive Team with various duties.

JPC's Purpose

Our purpose is to provide a voice for new members of The University of Southern Mississippi’s Panhellenic Council and to raise awareness of its operations. We provide the Panhellenic Council with fresh insight on ways to improve new membership recruitment and programming. We also promote the National Panhellenic Councils philanthropy—Circle of Sisterhood. Ultimately, we have the opportunity to learn the leadership skills necessary to become positive and proactive members of all aspects of the Panhellenic Community.
