At Southern Miss, our recruitment counselors, affectionately called Gamma Chis, are here to be your guides, cheerleaders, and biggest supporters as you go through primary recruitment. Each Gamma Chi has walked in your shoes before and completed special training to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Because their main job is to be there for you, they temporarily step away from their own chapters to focus on helping you have the best experience possible. You’ll have two Gamma Chis in your corner, ready to answer questions, offer advice, or just lend an ear whenever you need it.

Our 2026 Gamma Chi team is made up of amazing women who pour their hearts into making recruitment a little less stressful and a lot more fun. To know them is to love them!
