Circle of Sisterhood

Founded by former sorority woman Ginny Carroll in 2010, Circle of Sisterhood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing barriers to education for girls and women worldwide. The organization works to provide access to safe schools, scholarships, grants, and educational resources for communities in need.

Through fundraising, advocacy, and service projects, Circle of Sisterhood supports global education initiatives that empower women and girls. Their efforts help create opportunities for students to pursue education, develop leadership skills, and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities. Throughout their time, Circle of Sisterhood has impacted 31 countries and built 49 schools for people in need.

Here on campus, we are proud to have a Circle of Sisterhood Committee made up of members from every sorority in our community, including both NPHC and CPC chapters. By working together across our councils, our committee promotes unity, service, and advocacy while supporting the mission of expanding opportunities for women worldwide.

Circle of Sisterhood believes education is one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change. With the support of sorority women on more than 340 campuses, the organization helps strengthen families, communities, and future generations worldwide. Every donation, volunteer effort, and act of support contributes to expanding opportunities and empowering future leaders.
