LETTER FROM THE

CPC PRESIDENT

On behalf of the College Panhellenic Council, I am thrilled that you are interested in learning more about our Panhellenic community here at Southern Miss! I currently serve as the Panhellenic President and it is such an honor to serve these women in this capacity.

College Panhellenic Council is the largest all-women’s organization on campus, composed of eight Panhellenic sororities. CPC continuously works to embrace, equip, and empower the women within. Becoming a member of CPC has been the most enriching experience of my undergraduate career. I truly believe I have become a better version of myself. I have been so heavily influenced by incredible women in this community who encourage me to challenge myself, develop leadership skills, and step out of my comfort zone. All of these experiences were made possible with the support of the panhellenic women who surround me. I will always be grateful for these women, lifelong friendships, and a strong bond of sisterhood.

Morgan,

2017 CPC President

We truly value scholarship, service, leadership, and sisterhood. Through individual programing and accountability, our sororities have been able to consistently achieve a GPA that is significantly above the all women’s average. Panhellenic women have not only proven service with their individual philanthropy, but with local charities as well. Our dedication doesn’t end there. Chapter members promote and support both involvement and leadership in other campus organization such as Southern Style, Dixie Darlings, Band, and the Student Government Association.

Being Greek means you are a part of a community that encourages, uplifts, and challenges each member to be the best version of themselves. The most beneficial aspect of sorority membership is having a group of women to not only share your values, but also uphold them. Panhellenic membership is about striving to improve your community and campus not only as a student, but also throughout your life.

After visiting our website, I hope you have a greater understanding of our purpose, the resources, and the countless opportunities to help enhance your college experience that are made available through panhellenic membership. I sincerely hope you consider joining our community.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

With gratitude,

Morgan Jackson

2017 Panhellenic President
